Praveen Kumar Mishra is a senior civil engineer and infrastructure executive with 37 years of distinguished service in the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) — one of the world's most demanding large-scale rail and civil infrastructure environments.

His career culminated as General Manager (Chief Executive) of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), the world's largest electric locomotive manufacturing facility, where he led a $720 million enterprise employing 12,000 people. Under his leadership, CLW achieved back-to-back world production records — 402 and 431 electric locomotives in consecutive years — both certified by the Limca Book of Records.

Since retirement, he continues as an independent infrastructure consultant and Presiding Arbitrator in infrastructure and commercial disputes, bringing decades of engineering and executive experience to complex technical matters.
